The Republican lawmaker has been pushing for the release of files related to Jeffrey Epstein.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) posted a message on social media over the weekend instructing followers to “find out” what really happened if she were to be found dead.

“I am not suicidal and one of the happiest healthiest people you will meet,” she wrote on X, as she suggested that “powerful people” may have it out for her, especially over her push to release the files related to late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

The White House is reportedly working behind the scenes to pressure lawmakers into dropping a petition that would compel the release of the files ― but Greene insisted on Saturday that she is standing firm.

“The Epstein rape and pedophile network must be exposed,” she wrote in a previous message, which she shared again as she added:

Greene is among just four Republicans who support a discharge petition on the release of the Epstein files. All Democrats are also on board, leaving that petition one vote short of passage.

That final vote in the House is expected to arrive with Democrat Adelita Grijalva, who won a special election in Arizona last week and could be sworn in when the House returns on Oct. 7. The bill would then have to pass the Senate and possibly overcome a presidential veto. Even then, it’s unclear whether the Department of Justice would comply.

Epstein was found dead in his jail cell in 2019, one month after being arrested on accusations of sex trafficking of minors.

His death was ruled a suicide, but many ― including his brother ― question that narrative and believe he was killed to stop him from naming other powerful people.
