Update — 2:24 PM PST: Kourtney later addressed the criticism. In her Instagram Story, she posted a picture of Rocky wearing a brand-new life vest. She thanked fans for their concern and admitted she “didn’t think about some of the dangers” of boating without one.

She also said she hopes the incident helps “other mommies” understand the risks of certain types of boating without proper safety gear.

A Family Milestone Amid Controversy

In her Stories, Kourtney revealed she was breastfeeding Rocky in the boating photo. She celebrated the moment after doctors had warned it might not be possible for her.

The Kardashians star welcomed Rocky in November 2023 with husband Travis Barker after fertility challenges. She is also mom to Mason (15), Penelope (13), and Reign (10) with ex Scott Disick. Additionally, she is stepmom to Barker’s three children — Landon (21), Alabama (19), and Atiana (26).
