Jollibee has once again taken the crown for the best fast food fried chicken in America, according to USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards. This marks the second consecutive year the Filipino chain has topped the list, surpassing U.S. giants like Chick-fil-A and Popeyes.

Jollibee’s Chickenjoy Beats the Competition

Known for its signature Chickenjoy—a juicy, crispy fried chicken served with silky gravy—Jollibee was chosen by readers after a panel of quick-service dining experts nominated their top picks.

USA Today praised the chain for its consistency, flavor, and global presence:

Jollibee’s US Expansion Continues

Since opening its first U.S. location in Daly City, California, in 1998, Jollibee has steadily grown across North America. It recently opened a store in Alameda, and fans are eagerly awaiting the launch of the long-promised San Francisco Market Street location.

While Google Maps lists the SF restaurant as opening in August, a Jollibee spokesperson told Eater SF that the date has yet to be officially confirmed.
