‘Hercules’ Star Kevin Sorbo’s Son Says Women Should Not Have The Vote
Braeden Sorbo, the son of “Hercules” actors and outspoken Donald Trump supporters Kevin and Sam Sorbo, appeared to stun Christian-conservative host Richard Harris with his comments about women and the vote.
On “The Truth & Liberty Show” hosted by Harris, the apparently wannabe MAGA influencer Sorbo claimed that many young women he knows would actually prefer to give up their own vote if it meant liberal women couldn’t cast ballots.
He said:
“I know more young women today who say they wish they didn’t ever get the right to vote than I’ve ever talked to in my life. They go back and they go, ‘Well, if I never had this, then everything throughout the history with abortion and feminism and all of these things wouldn’t have taken place and so I would much rather give up my one right to vote if it meant 10,000 liberal women wouldn’t be allowed to vote so that we could return our country to a better place.’”
Women control the house and therefore control their husbands’ vote “and so that true dynamic was one vote for the entire household that was pretty much dictated by the wife, right?” said Sorbo.
He also linked women’s suffrage to what he described as the “moral degradation and societal downfall” of the West and when Harris pressed him directly if he was saying “women shouldn’t have the right to vote,” he replied: “Yes.”
“Wow!” responded Harris. “OK. Have you publicly declared that before?”
“Yeah, yeah, yeah. Numerous times.” Sorbo answered. “My stance is a voting system based on Christian morals which relates to married couples having one joint vote. And so it’s not, ‘Oh, women shouldn’t vote.’ It’s that women should vote with their husbands and husbands with their wives.”
“It is this idea that we should be working together because what happened is when we pit the genders against each other, the battle of the sexes, we split everything apart,” he added. “We took the children out of the home and put them in the government school systems. We pit the wife against her husband and the husband against his wife. And that is what led to the downfall of America.”
Right-Wing Watch, of the progressive advocacy organization People For The American Way, shared a clip of the comments on X (formerly Twitter) and critics had… thoughts.
